What’s Covered with Tradesman Insurance
The UK has thousands of small businesses and self-employed tradespeople providing everything from building services and gardening through to plumbing, electrical work, and even furniture making. Tradesmen and women are vital to the economy of the country, and at Intasure we want to support this sector with Tradesman and Professional Insurance.
Consider helping to protect your business with Tradesman Public Liability Insurance, we offer Tradesman Insurance Cover for a wide range of industries. As with all insurance provision, there are some areas that we cannot provide cover for, but wherever possible we will do our utmost to provide Tradesman Insurance Quotes that are suitable for you.
At Intasure, we provide insurance from self-employed tradespeople or small businesses involved in the design and manufacture of goods. Our aim is to listen to our customers, and provide a tradesman policy that is responsive to your needs, whether you are a sole operator or run a multi-site business.
What do you cover?
As well as a wide range of insurance perils, our policies include public, products and employers’ liability. In recent years, there has been a growing trend to allow members of the public into the workshop area and see craftspeople at work.
Product Liability Insurance
If you are a tradesman making goods, even on a very small scale, you should consider including products liability insurance in your insurance portfolio. Products liability covers your business in respect of the actual “product” you sell or manufacture to your customers if the product causes damage or injury to the person it was supplied to.
