However, a holiday lodge or chalet is a big financial investment, and may want to be considered to be protected. At Intasure, we can provide holiday lodge insurance that is competitive and can offer you peace of mind.
Why buy a holiday chalet?
Offering you all the comforts of home (and maybe some luxurious extras too!) holiday lodges and chalets are usually located within their own parks, providing your family with a safe and tranquil holiday home you can access whenever you want.
They can also potentially provide excellent long-term returns, as when you’re not using them for your own family holidays, you can rent them out to holidaymakers for weekend breaks or longer vacations.
Holiday chalets are particularly popular in seaside towns, and new chalet and lodge parks are being developed in some of the most beautiful regions of the UK, including the Lake District, Devon and Cornwall, and the beautiful Scottish Highlands. It doesn’t matter where your holiday chalet is located, at Intasure we can help you protect your chalet in nearly any town, village or city with our holiday chalet insurance.
Protecting your holiday chalet
Here at Intasure, our aim is to provide you with chalet insurance that suits your needs. We define chalets and lodges as standard-built structures that do not fit in with other static caravan or park home descriptions, so to ensure you get a suitable type of insurance policy.
You can also get a quote by filling out our online form. We’ll then be able to calculate the amount it will cost to help protect your UK-based chalet. Our form is quick and easy to use which means you won’t have to spend hours looking for a quote through comparison sites.
What if my chalet is overseas?
We also offer cover for chalets abroad, including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Greece. If you have any questions you can call our customer services team who will be happy to help!
What cover do I get with your holiday lodge insurance?
You’ll also get Public Liability cover of £2.5million as standard, which can be increased up to £5million at your request. This could be vital if you’re planning on renting out your chalet or lodge, as it offers you protection against claims for personal injury or damage to property.
If you can’t use your lodge because of damage covered by the policy then we can cover the cost of alternative accommodation (up to 10% of the building sum insured).
